Creating A New Brand
Our first step was to create a logo that would represent the family’s heritage of cranberry farming on Cape Cod. The logo was designed with a traditional New England lighthouse superimposed on Cape Cod’s famous elbow image adorned with a cranberry branch. Once completed, we created a brand positioning statement, Cranberries for All Seasons, that reflected the Rhodes family desire to make cranberries accessible to consumers year-round.
Because of our successful launch of Cape Cod Select’s frozen cranberries, Cape Cod Select again retained Thought For Food & Son to develop a new name, “Cranberries Plus,” for the extension of its cranberry focused blends. After approval of the name, Thought For Food & Son then completed the new retail packaging for the Cranberries Plus product line. Cape Cod Select’s frozen cranberries can be found in over 6,000 retailers across the U.S.
