To increase sales and product awareness of Sam’s Fresh Salsa While increasing Consumer Engagement of Sam’s Fresh Salsa Leading Up-To Cinco de Mayo Day.


Thought For Food & Son researched and recruited local New Jersey influencers where Sam’s Fresh Salsa is made and whose brand beliefs align with Sam’s Fresh Salsa that salsa should be fresh, flavorful, and have no artificial ingredients. Our strategy was to let our influencers tell their own stories in a fun and exciting way when experimenting with Sam’s Fresh Salsa. We had the influencers prioritize their Instagram pages using static posts and Instagram stories when engaging with their followers. As part of the campaign, Instagram giveaways were also used to drive consumer engagement and excitement by giving consumers a chance to win a $50.00 Visa gift card and a free variety pack of Sam’s Fresh Salsa.
The Results
The #daretogetfresh campaign was implemented with a New Jersey attitude and was highly successful in driving retail sales, consumer engagement and increasing brand awareness of Sam’s Fresh Salsa.
